The external appearance of the KOYA garden house is defined by the high-quality facade elements, the selected roof design and the surface.

Would you like to make your garden cube more open and transparent? Or do you want elements that cannot be seen in certain places? With a fine selection of openable and fixed glazed windows, doors and opaque side walls, we can adapt each room module individually to the customer's needs. The design facades were designed by KOYA architects so that they are exactly level with the outer shell of the garden house. Viewed from the outside, there is no protrusion due to window or door frames. The same applies to the wall elements, which are also installed absolutely flush with the outer shell. Overall, the facades, together with the metallic outer shell of the modern-looking garden house, form a uniform and harmonious overall picture. In addition, all wall and window elements are insulated. This ensures year-round use in the winter and summer months. High-quality triple glazing with high insulation is used for windows and doors. Wall and ceiling panels in KOYA luxury garden houses are always made with solid 70mm insulation.

ROOF DESIGN
The interior and the user's spatial experience can be greatly enhanced by allowing light to enter through the roof or ceiling of the designer garden house. In addition, a roof window provides additional daylight from above in the autumn and winter months. In summer, a roof window offers you the option of ventilating heated, oxygen-poor air and promotes the supply of fresh air and cross ventilation within the garden space. The flat roof of the garden house can be designed in three variants. For the KOYA system, you can get roof windows with clear, harmonious lines that are square or round. A very special highlight is the possible design of the garden house with a pop-up sleeping roof. With this innovative KOYA product development, an additional room is created on the roof of the cube within a few seconds, which can be used for rest periods, "power naps" or even for overnight stays.
COLORS & SURFACES
Since the KOYA garden house is a unique design product that is made specifically for each customer, it can also be customized using special materials and colors. The outer cladding of the high-quality garden house is made of metal and can be coated and designed with various surface treatments. A permit for the construction or erection of a KOYA garden house is not always required.
Since the requirements vary from state to state, it is important that you first find out about your local guidelines for building a garden house.
In most cases, the development plan for your property specifies a certain floor area in square meters that can be used to build a garage, a garden house, a garden shed or something similar in addition to your main building. The size of this area depends on various factors such as the size of the plot, the ratio of the plot to the building area, etc.
In many cases there are no regulations for building a garden house. In this case, the planning authority should be asked for advice and approval.

The KOYA garden cubes are "plug & play" and are completely prefabricated in production. After completion, the garden houses are loaded as a whole onto a transport truck and delivered directly to you by the shipping company.
The fact that complex assembly on site is no longer necessary saves considerable costs. This means that the focus can be 100% on the product, which is reflected in the quality and level of detail of the designer garden house.
For assembly on site, all that is needed is a conventional mobile crane to place the garden house modules in the desired location. This method is significantly more cost-effective than employing a multi-person assembly team (which is usually the case with other manufacturers).

Ideally, the garden house module is connected directly to the ground.
In order to be able to carry out this fastening properly, the KOYA garden house has adjustable feet, which in turn have four holes. This means that the building can be securely connected to the ground with four concrete anchors each.
To ensure that the subsoil of the garden house is stable, small concrete foundations should be placed at the corners. The dimensions of the foundations and the quality of the concrete depend on the size and use of the garden cube.

Who carries out the foundation work for a garden house?
The foundation work described above is usually carried out by gardening and landscaping companies. They have experience in excavation and small concrete work. In order to save travel time and costs, it is advisable to commission a regional partner for this work in advance.
When should the foundation work be completed?
It makes sense to complete the foundations before the fully prefabricated garden house is delivered. Since the foundation still needs to harden a little, this should not be done on the day of delivery, but rather a few days beforehand.
Alternative: A continuous foundation slab. The garden house foundations can be designed individually - only in the area of the adjustable feet - or as a complete concrete floor slab.
Can the KOYA garden house also be placed on wooden terraces or terraces with stone slabs?
If you plan to place the Garden Cube on a terrace, the required concrete foundations can also be set deeper. In this case, longer feet are required to connect the building to the corresponding ground anchor in a statically compliant manner.
For most usage requirements, a KOYA Design garden house requires a 230 volt connection, which is branched off from your main fuse box in the house by an electrician of your choice using an underground cable.
The garden house is delivered with an open power cable so that it can be waterproofed by an electrician after installation on site.

Which power sources can I use for a garden house?

Ideally, you should use an existing and used power connection, which is usually found in houses or buildings, garages or basements. This power connection is already registered and can be billed via the electricity bill using an electricity meter.
Direct connection to the public power grid
If it is not possible to connect to the private grid, you can also apply for a direct connection to the public grid. The main power connection should not be too far from your garden house/cube. If you go this route, expect to pay around EUR 1,200 for the application and the costs for the electricity meter and the switch box or fuse box.

If you are planning to set up the KOYA garden house on a remote property where there is no power connection, you can also generate electricity with a generator. The type and size of the generator depends on the amount of technology installed in the garden house or the devices used.
